Does what it is suppose to do.
6 of 6 found this helpful it works.. Maximum forward swing no matter where the Rf power knob is set. Dead key one watt and still swing max forward power.
Easy to follow instructions. I installed mine in 10 minutes and was up and running.

Real 800 watt RMS power, 1 ohm stable Amp..!
The Pioneer GM-D8601 is a great Amp.... 800 RMS watts all day long. Sadly Pioneer has to put a exaggerated Max power rating on the Box. This amp will not do 1600 watts. Maybe if lightning strikes it....lol But.... If you are looking for a affordable real 800 watt amp? This amp will make you very happy...! 1 ohm =800 watts clean power...
