Josh Pyke - Memories and Dust

First came across this album in an idle moment on a long-haul flight (thank you Qantas!). It is one of the very few albums I have ever really liked the first time I heard it. Sits nicely alongside Alex Lloyd in a light-heartedly soulful fashion. Love it.

'Original' all the way - plain and sturdy!

The 'original' is plain and sturdy. Leather is strong but still flexible, (not nearly as floppy as the Malden), and if you don't like lots of fiddly pockets it's perfect. I have both A5 and Personal and love both.

Simple design, lovely colour

Love the simplicity of the Original (I don't like or need lots of pockets) and the thickness of the leather. Feels more robust than the Malden. Stone is a lovely soft grey which is what I wanted. Not sure about the last question - the contents of a Filofax doesn't really fit with the word 'compelling' !!
