Nice function but cheap viewfinder
PROS: 6x optical zoom, full manual control, big sensor, 12MP, RAW file, 3" screen, built-in ND filter CONS: cheap viewfinder that can see the lens even at the wide angle end, bulk and not considered to be compact camera. Detail: This is considered the highest class of digital point and shoot camera. The full manual function, high image quality, 12MP, and the RAW output make G9 to be ideal as replacement of big DSLR. Many amateur photographers will use this camera as backup of their DSLR. With the optional tube adapter LA-DC58H, you can be able to mount filters, telephoto lens, wide angle lens, and macro lens. However, once the camera is zoomed to maximum (6x), you will not be able to use 3rd party lens because the lenses will collapse to give you an error.
