Merlefest's Best!!
This DVD was recorded live at Merlefest during the special show that Doc Watson performed to commemorate the 15th Anniversary of one of the best Americana music festivals in the world. For four days in late April, the campus of Wilkes Community College in North Wilkesboro, NC is transformed into a music festival unlike any other. It is a safe and fun family oriented atmosphere where people from all walks of life can come together to enjoy traditional mountain music as well as get a sampling of new and different offerings in Americana music. A broad range of established and emerging talent are showcased each year.
This DVD offers performances of some of Doc's closest friends and associates. If you enjoy bluegrass music, this DVD is a must for your collection.

Amazing Bass Sound from a small package!
The UBASS is fun to play and has amazing sound from such a small instrument. Granted, it does sound better hooked up to my PJB briefcase amp, but it is nevertheless fun to play unplugged. I believe the secret is in the strings themselves. They are very smooth and easy to fret.
