Perfect for a Book Older than I am
This book was published in 1981 and has stayed in pretty amazing condition. There are a few stains and marks, which is perfectly reasonable for a book this old. The spine is intact and so are all the pages. Someone took good care of this.
Inside, it's exactly what one would expect. It's a day in the life of Oscar the Grouch! Written as Oscar, hour by hour from wake-up to bedtime, this story is relatable and adorable. It's everything that is lovable about Sesame Street and its residents. Perfect for children beginning to read on their own and with colorful illustrations.

Darkly Beautiful
Lynda Barry is an amazingly talented and under-rated author. This book is definitely disturbing; it's not for the weak- or narrow-minded. However, it's an extremely compelling tale of a young woman battling mental illness, abuse and life in a misogynistic culture.
