Design Issue
1 of 1 found this helpful The aerator is sturdy and well finished. However the internal dimension of the tines is narrow and the tubes would benefit from being sharp edged. Consequently it is difficult to press them into the turf. Instead of grass and soil passing up through the tines they become clogged. This means that any holes created in the ground compact the surrounding area. This may be because the soil needs to be very wet but no guidance is given or warnings that the tool may not work effectively on all lawns.
