Compelling. Riveting!
I have been looking for an author of this quality for awhile and Ms. Jekel is it! Historical fiction at its best. I now have a whole collection of her books!

Too simplistic.
Very simplistic, predictable writing. OK for someone who just wants a non-thought provoking read.

Fairly simple reading, not a challenge.
This book is somewhat simplistic and my preference is for more in depth content and more skilled writing in general. I am sure the book would be suitable for very light reading.
