The One And Only Superman
This was a great movie. The movie that slowly started all the wonderful comic book hero movies that we see today. In my opinion there will always be only one Superman and that is the late and great Christopher Reeve. The man is just wonderful in this. It is such a honest portrayal of Superman powerful almost indestructable however very kind and very human not like a power hungry God. His portrayal of Clark Kent is also fabulas and right on the money. There will never be another actor to come along and do a better job of playing Superman or Clark Kent no matter how much they try. Christopher Reeve is just it plain and simple. On a side not wonderful job to Glenn Ford for guiding Clark and showing him how to be a great person and shaping him up for the future to be Superman. It is also wonderful to see Gene Hackman as Lex Luthor. Hackmen is very evil in this picture however he is also very enjoyable in this movie. Margot Kidder is also great as Lois Lane. Ned Beatty gives a very great and comical performence as Otis. Who could ever forget Otisburg? Jackie Cooper dose give a great perfomence as the editor and cheif Parry White, just don't call him chief. The other amazing stand out besids Christopher Reeve is Marlon Brando. For the little bit of the movie that he is in at the begining he is very dramatic and commanding. You just can not help but get caught up in his great performence. I must say that it is probably one of the best scenes in the movie when he addresses the Kryptonian counsual and tells them about there empending doom. On closing if you like comic book heros you will love Superman. On blu-ray tis is the best this movie has ever looked and sounded. I would say defenatlly check it out.

A True Timeless Classic
I love this movie it is with out a doubt my all time favorite movie. The reason I say that it's a all time classic is because it has no time frame reference or time period to it. You could watch this is the year 2060 and it would still be just is original and funny as it is today and as it was twenty five years ago. I was very excited to hear that it was coming to blu-ray on the the twenty fifth anniversary. I must say that it was pretty well put together. I was very happy with all the special features and I especially liked slimer mode. It was very interesting to hear all the things that went on behind the camera from the cast and crew. It was really nice to see how beautiful the made Ecto 1 look. It was also cool to look inside and see all the cool little gadgets and equipment. Also if you have not checked out the Ghostbusters video game you should do so it is a very fun game. The movie itself looked better then it ever did. It was kind of grainy in some spots but you can live through them. The worst is when Winston and Ray are driving down the bridge. I blame the sony studio for not cleaning it up very well. I mean I have seen movies on blu-ray much older then Ghostbusters and there is nowhere near as much grain to the pictures. So for this great movie I think they could have done a better job of cleaning it up and giving the fans a real treat instead of a half classed job. Even with that said it's still very beautiful and colorful especially at the end with the big fight scene with Gozer the woman and Gozer the Traveler. The colors just jump off the screen. In that regard the picture has never looked better. The sound was also the best I have ever heard for this movie. I love hearing the Stay Puff Marsmellow Man walking downtown Manhatten. It was very cool to hear and also when the roof exsploded when the ecto contanment unit was shout off. All and all it was really great audio. Bottom line is if you are a fan of the Ghostbusters it is well worth it to buy this on blu-ray and if you are not formiler with the movie and want to see a great comedy defenatlly check out Ghostbusters. My hats off to the cast and crew and Ivan Reitman. I do hope they all get together and finish making Ghostbusters 3.

Greatest American Sitcom In History
What can you say it's the simgle greatest American sitcom in history. If you have not seen it. Which I find highly unlikely be sure to watch it and you will probably fall in love with it as countless millions have over the last fifty some years. This is a real treat to get this classic show all together in one great boxset and for such a great price to. Indeed I Love Lucy will live on forever.
