Great Sport Camera that is Reasonably Priced
2 of 2 found this helpful This unit was very reasonably priced. About $50 for the camera, charger, two batteries, waterproof case, attachments, one USB charger/data cable, some tie wraps and instruction booklet. It would be much more expensive if I bought a Go-Pro but I was not going to expose this camera to "extreme" anything. Just some snorkeling in the Caribbean.
The case seems well built and was waterproof for me (down a depth of about 8 feet). It was easy to use once you learn the buttons. The one drawback I had was the screen is so small that the writing on the screen is small as well. I need glasses to see anything that small and while snorkeling I don't have my glasses. It was hit or miss as to whether or not I was actually videoing anything. So if you need glasses to read small print, I would suggest you memorize the buttons and screens before use. This is an issue on ALL small cameras. After all, camera size does dictate screen size.
The pictures were very good. I did not take any videos in 4K, only 1080P. I did take some stills (see attached). They came out spectacular. Everything was in focus, the motion smooth on videos and the colors accurate.
The sound underwater was cool. It did pick up my breathing, bubbles and any conversations I had when surfaced. I believe there is a menu option to turn off sound if you want but I thought it added a lot to the videos.
Picture 1 is above water and just a general shot before going into the water. The second picture is actually taken while snorkeling in St. Thomas, USVI. Depth of the water is about 20 to 25 feet and the camera is at about 3 feet looking down.
For the cost I thought this camera was an excellent bargain. I would buy again.

Excellent Video Quality. Uses analog wiring!
0 of 1 found this helpful The video quality of this system is outstanding...a full 1080P. Both day time and night time video quality are excellent. Another plus for this system is the fact that it uses the older analog wiring...so I did not have to crawl around in the attic re-running wires. (I will do that next time when I go to a 4K system.)
While the setup to watching video on your phone is complicated, the Samsung Service people and excellent at helping. I just called them up and they set up everything for me. Took about 5 minutes (after a 20 minute wait on the phone) and I was watching my security cameras on my phone.
I did have an issue with the system reporting a "RECORDING ERROR" and then it would reboot the system. This was happening intermittently from once an hour to once every couple of days. It was driving me crazy. I initially blamed the unit, HOWEVER, after consulting with the Samsung Service people, it was determined that the issue was one of my older cameras that I was using. I replaced the camera and the issue went away.
The fact is I got the whole system (DVR and Cameras) for a cost that is less than what just the cameras would go for. As far as I could tell everything was brand new and packaged like brand new.
The only issue I had with the unit was it did not come with a manual; I had to download that from the WEB. No big deal.
I would buy again.

Saves the main board!
This little circuit board diverts most of the the current required to heat the hotbed or the hot-end of the extruder in 3D printers. This means that the main circuit board no longer sees high current loads as this inexpensive and easily added upgrade takes over that job. They work like a charm. I have one on my hotbed (about 12 amps when on) and one on my hot-end (about 3.5 amps when on).
They work exactly as advertised and are a good price. These items save you from melted terminals on your main board or worse.
A good value!
