Awesome knife!!
Super sharp and excellent edge retention!! I thought it was stainless steel but it’s carbon steel, hence the black textured finish. It only discolors on the edge but still sharp after 7 weekends of hunting. The rubber handle doesn’t slip when wet unlike a buck 119 and cuts through thick hide easily. I use it as strictly a bleeder and have had excellent results, effortless for stabbing and slicing the thickest skin, neck muscle and rubbery neck tendons. I’ve searched high and low trying about a dozen over a period of 5 yrs and I hit jackpot with the cheapest knife!! Out performs knives costing over $300, try one you will not be disappointed. I bought 4 more ensuring I will have this performance and reliability for the rest of my life and not be let down if it ever gets discontinued!!
