0 of 1 found this helpful THEIR COMPATIBILITY CHART SHOWED THAT IT WOULD FIT A 1977 MERCEDES 240D. IT WOULD NOT. THEIR THREAD IS APPROXIMATELY 12 MM WITH A HEX OF APPROX 12 MM. IT NEEDS TO BE WITH A THREAD OF APPROX. 18 MM AND A HEX OF APPROX 21 MM.

Easy Success
1 of 1 found this helpful The Ignition Switch was easy to install and solved the problem of engine stall. You just have to remove two small screws holding the bad unit on the back of the key assemble, unplug it and replace with the new one. Problem Solved !
