The Canon UC9 Hi-8

I bought this to replace mine which I clumsily broke! I needed to transfer my analogue tapes to the PC and burn to DVD. It was, quite simply, in my opinion, the best quality camcorder available from the whole market when I bought mine in 1997 and needed to ensure the transferred quality matched up. I considered some of the other analogue makes available on Ebay at much lower cost but their spec was very inferior. I bought this on 'Buy it Now' because I'd lost out on a couple over the previous year. Glad I went for it. It's doing a great job in getting top quality analogue film into Digital format on the PC. Actually, I'm transferring to an external hardrive because each 90 minute tape is using aroud 20GB !! Yes 20GB. Shows what top quality the picture was - broadcast quality. Very pleased - those old holiday videos of the kids are now safe!

compact and shaves close.

6th time I've bought this model from eBay members, but this is the best one. More robust and good for 7/8 charges depending on beard toughness. Great shave, better than more up market European models!
