good quality at a good price
2 of 2 found this helpful With this saw blade you transform your angle grinder into a circular saw at a fraction of the cost of a proper one. Obviously it isn't as powerful and versatile, nor can it cope with large wood, but for small jobs it's very good, much quicker and precise than a hand saw or a jigsaw. If you also have a stand or vertical bracket for your angle grinder it will work even better, more precisely and safely than hand-holding, as you have in fact a small mitre saw.
Just remember that it is a small blade and you have therefore little clearance for cutting, so it can only be used for small pieces of wood or shallow cuts, less than 3cm deep.
This saw blade is well made and will cut through wood with ease, but make sure you don't go over the maximum rated speed (12000rpm), that you perfectly match the bore (2.22cm) and the rotation to your angle grinder, and that you fix it securely and perfectly lined up as it can be very dangerous otherwise. Always wear safety goggles and gloves!

Brilliant and effective electricity monitor
I got this as a replacement of the previous model of electricity monitor by British Gas, the plain black & white one, and I must admit I had always wanted this model.
First of all, it is a smaller size than the previous one: not only the display unit, but also the transmitter (requiring AA batteries instead of the larger C type), which means it will more easily fit in your meter cabinet, and in your home.
Secondly, and perhaps more importantly, it just looks so cool!
It has this beautiful backlit colour display that just looks like an instrument out of an airplane's dashboard. It is so easy to read, surprisingly even in daylight, and looks so Hi-Tech. Colour also helps judging your usage at a glance, since the consumption and budget bars will turn green or red depending if you are below or above your target.
It is also the only electricity monitor that will calculate your costs taking into account a daily standing charge. You can also set up up three different tariffs.
Thirdly, it displays usage for current and past day, week and calendar month, so you can immediately compare your consumption and especially gauge your future bill.
Finally, It also gives you the room temperature and signal strength.
Altogether the best electricity monitor in my opinion, they don't make them like this any more, so snap it up!
