Aviation and Brass Bands
Of the series of Myaskovsky Symphonies conducted by Svetlanov (the only complete overview of Myaskovsky's symphonies and orchestral works) this issue has been - for me- one of the most appealing. The Aviation symphony is my favourite on this disk, but the 19th Symphony for Wind Band really is also a very appealing work.
