bathroom ceiling light fitting

I had to replace an "old" fitting in the bathroom that used traditional bulbs, this item was the correct size, fitting was easy and with a glass bowl was better than original. excellent value and very well made and not available elsewhere. would recommend it. Paul Norfolk

looks too good to be true

I needed to rebuild a military battery pack comprising of 14 - 4,000 mAh rechargeable "c" cells. these batteries offered a cheaper suitable alternative. they appeared to be charged when received but when tested they soon lost their charge. . with 4 fully charged cells and a load of only 170 mA with a 6 v torch bulb they were FULLY discharged in less than 2 hours. My rebuilt battery pack .with a load of 450 mA dropped a third of its output voltage in 15 minutes. rechargeable cells normally are marked with the capacity and charge rate, these batteries have none. I would estimate they are no more than 600 mAh and not 3,000 mAh as advertised Paul Burgess
