Motorcycle Headlamp Protector BMW R 1200 GS Adventure 2014-2018 Clear R1200

Looks a quality product

My scores for this are, of course, currently given without being able to try the protector out on the bike on the road, because of lockdown. However, it's good quality and good value, in my opinion. It came fully assembled, so it was just a case of removing two bolts from the bike and putting it in place with two slightly longer bolts supplied. Simple. One small gripe is that the bolts - and the small ones holding the glass screen to its mount - are hexagon key fitting. Nearly everything else on my bike is held in place by the torx bolts and screws used by BMW. Worth also checking that the little bolts holding the glass in place when delivered are properly tight. They weren't on mine.

Very good value

Great value for money compared to essentially the identical thing from some online suppliers. A bit of a fiddle to fit, but you don't need to attach all of the velcro loops on each bag. As the pair I bought are also designed to fit another BMW model, I am assuming that some of them are intended for that bike's frame, not mine. Four loops were all I could get to fit on one side, but the bag seems secure enough, especially as, with a bag like this, you're never going to put anything heavy in it. Ideally situated for storing odds and ends while riding.
