simple to set up and worked immediately
robust and well made - replaces a cheaper alternative I had bought that failed so its good value and worth the money even if there are other items at a lower price

a great first step iot the world of smart phones
As a first 'smart phone' step up from a simple mobile, this is a great choice. As usual, the instruction manual is not a lot of help when something unusual happens, but google will show you lots of people had the same issue and how to solve it. (the widget bar is the most common query). Samsung menus are quite easy to navigate and the features of the phone are pretty good for an entry model. for faster surfing speeds and media you'll need a bigger screen and more processor power, but if you are thinking of a first step into the world of smart phones, this is great. Prices on ebay are reasonable (mainly I think because most people are after something a little more powerful). Only slight issue is the resistive touch screen which is not as responsive as a capacitive touch screen on more expensive phones but you soon get used to it.
