Grief-free printer that seems robust and makes very good prints
I bought this printer second-hand. This printer is well known among wide-format machines. It can print up to A1 (along the shortest side), As wide=format printers go this model is getting long in the tooth. Its successor is the Epson 7800. The 7600 takes Epson Ultrachrome inks, which are pigmented and significantly fade-resistant. It doesn't take K3 inks though. The 7800 does take K3 inks. The K3 printers are supposed to have better overall reproduction of blacks. However I am pleased with the output from my 7600. By the way, mine came without software but it was easy to set up using my Windows 7 Laptop, all drivers being freely available.
Mine came with rolls of inkjet canvas and immediately produced good results, showing good tonal range and colour range. Even at 700dpi the reproductions look good but you have the option of making it print at 14000 dpi too. I like the fact that the 7600 doesn't fuss much but instead prints in a reliable and business-like manner. My printer had no blocked jets or other nuisances and I noted that previous owners had been using true Epson ink cartiges. I can't give fuller details because I have only used this machine for a few weeks, but one thing I probably will do, in order to get the best results, is invest in some colour profiles. You can buy a RIP for the 7600 but I find the epson driver to be good anyway.

It seems a great printer except for password issue
Worked perfectly via USB but not via WiFi, due to some included password that simply didn’t work.
