An excellent reference and w ell worth the investment.
Adrian Vaughan writes with an easy, enjoyable style and was familiar to me through his 'Signalman's' series of autobiographical books about his life on the Western Region of British Railways.
'Signalman's Reflection' is aimed at the enthusiast, here on the subject of mechanical semaphore signals and signal boxes of England and Wales with occasional trips over the water to Ireland and even the Isle of Man.
Profusely illustrated with evocative black and white photographs and diagrams.

Rigid reinforcement.
I've used filters previously that had no perforated metal reinforcement and which quickly distorted when clogged.
