Japan Blu-ray
1 of 1 found this helpful As a Highlander fan, this HD transfer is far superior to the dvd available in the US. The big win here are the bonus videos. The bonus features are a MUST for any fan. I was not even aware of the history of the Highlander series narrated by Leonard Nimoy! Even though many of the interviews presented here are vhs rips with numerous tracking issues, it did not detract, as it felt like finding a fans secret stash of 20 year old recorded footage preserved for us all to see. Really great stuff here! Played great on my region 1 Blu-ray player here in the US. Even though the menus are in Japanese, the audio is English and the film cut is the same as the Director’s Cut. And any fan of the series knows this film takes place in Japan, so the Japanese Blu-ray cover is cool to have. Throw in the beefy bonus features and this is a great addition for the serious Highlander fan who likes the third film.
