SHM-CD vs Domestic CD's worth the extra price?
1 of 1 found this helpful SHM-CD does sound better than the several versions of Quadrophenia that I already own - sharper, more open, better definition of the instruments and much clearer compared to the other recordings. This recording is very silent which is very true of all cd's but i found it particularly true of this one and of most Japanese imports and it is why i seek them out and am willing to pay a premium price for my favorite recordings as opposed domestic recordings. You will have to judge for yourself
