Solid and nice looking.

The serial converter with metal case is slightly more expensive than buying the bare boarded version of the CP2102 chip, but for me this was the best solution. It works flawlessly and I am very happy with it.

FTDI USB Programming Cable for Hytera PD785

I am very pleased with this cable which works flawlessly on my Hytera PD785G. The delivery was quick and the cable is as advertised. The cable came with a mini-CD with USB drivers for various products and for some had drivers for Windows, Mac OS and Linux. I did not use any of these drivers but have used the Hytera recommended driver for my radio. With this driver the cable works 100%. I can only recommend this product.
