Noisy device
Operation seems fine, time will tell (no pun intended). There is a loud ticking sound from the device as it chronicles time elapsed. A bit annoying.

View Finder for my PowerShot G3X
Just bought a new G3X camera to replace my entire Canon DSLR outfit. I’m very happy with my decision, the only thing that this camera should come with is the electronic view finder, but it doesn’t. This is a critical component for bright outdoor shots, and specialty shots. I found the clarity of the image to be excellent, and it is a simple plug and play device with ocular adjustments, and it senses the proximity of your eye and shifts between it and the Camera back screen. We plan to use this extensively on our upcoming Antarctica trip where we hope to have many extremely bright days. Well worth the investment (note: retail pricing was too high, eBay was a much better price point)

Well worth the dollars.
Well built, meets my needs. Can be installed up side down for a higher step needed to access the roof pod on my Wrangler Rubicon
