I like these batteries

I bought these for use in scanner radios and have just begun using them. I also have the Tenergy variety that are supposed to be low self discharge for a long shelf life. The batteries charge normally and appear to be delivering their rated capacity. Note that they are a little larger in diameter than the typical AA cell (by 0.5mm) which was noticeable in one of my radios but still usable. They are the correct length.

My Best Detector So Far

Replacing a Whistler CR-88 and Bel RX-65. Very sensitive, Decent K-band filtering. Still susceptible to some blind spot false alarms but very reliable when it comes to Ka-band. I plan to upgrade the firmware to also detect MRCD. Good multi threat detection and a rich configuration menu.

Pretty neat. Great value.

Reasonably comfortable to wear. Received audio is pretty good. Mic is outstanding at cancelling ambient noise while still picking up user's voice well. PTT button has velcro loop - I wish it had the option of a clip, too, though one could be fashioned without too much trouble. My original intention was to use in the car but also proved very good while walking. Nice alternative to speaker-mic.
