Superior hardware
The NEW 3DS XL is something of a creature comforts device. No, you don't NEED the additional horsepower for most games. No you don't NEED the built in c-stick. No, you don't NEED the faster download speeds...
But damn if they aren't nice. Really, the only disadvantages are how you'll require a mini sd card rather than an SD card as with the previous model, and the fact that its existence caused their trade in value to drop significantly.
