It didn't work for me!
I have a BMW 328ci 1999 E46. The B800 airbag tool just read a flashing "E" which means unable to read car computer (Error). I went directly to a BMW garage who fixed the airbag which cost me an extra £375. Maybe it was the problem with the car or the wrong sort of airbag failure but anyway BMW found the cause not the diagnostic tool.
