Moss if you can see it.
A small square of soil, the moss is barely visible. The photo on the add shows an image that requires a magnifying glass to see the real thing.

Description faulty.
This is not suitable for an iPad mini and this is not made clear in the description.

No drivers for OS Mojave.
Canon have not written drivers for OS Mojave and appear to have no plans to produce them.
I had to pay for a proprietary scanning software, which means that it's possible but Canon are clearly working on the principle that by withholding updated drivers they will be thrown into landfill and people will replace them with another Canon scanner.
Personally I would never trust a Canon product again because I would never feel safe that they would be willing to update their drivers as operating systems are updated.
