Very useful if it is what you need.
First, the specific card and vender: Perfect. Exactly what was described in the auction and works perfectly for what it is at a very reasonable price. 5 stars!
Now to the video card itself: At this time, this video card is mostly useful to someone needing to transfer old analog video to a digital form for archiving and ease of playback. However, the card cannot do this without the special cable(s) required to connect a VCR or camcorder to it. so do your research. I was able to find the ones required and the card performs very well for this task. Note also that most if not all of the TV tuner functionality this card once had went out the window right with analog TV.

I appreciate that this fuse block came with the connectors and some wire included rather than just the bare block. I may need some of these to repair hidden damage below the block which was invaded by mice one winter while in storage.

Special use device that works if you need it.
Product reviewed is Atlona HDMI/DVI Scaler with Analog/Digital Audio. Model: AT-HD560DVI
This is a discontinued product so was purchased used at what I considered a fair price. It solved a problem where I needed to convert an HDMI 1080P output to 1080i so I could feed it to an old CRT HD TV. The AT-HD560 allows you to let it try to autosense the required input and select the conversion OR you can force the output to the format you require. It seems well built and works well in my application.
