ZAGG doomed keyboard designs
This item at first glimpse, had great potential but ultimately it failed miserably. I’ve owned other ZAGG products, Bluetooth keyboard cases. They all looked like winners but simply didn’t last long at all. The hinges were/are always the weak link. Always. My first one lasted only 3-4 months. The most recent one, the subject of this review, lasted 4 weeks before breaking off. I hated that it didnt last because the keyboard is exceptional! I have no complaints about how it pairs up and functions. ZAGG has a daunting task ahead of them, $90 - $100 keyboard should not break. I can suggest many ways to strengthen and solidify the hing issues but not with plastic. The current design is doomed by it’s nature. There are better ways - and I would pay the price!
