Faddy Budgie v Vitakraft Feather Care Seed Sticks
My budgie Marty has an overgrowing beak problem, and for many years (he is 11 now) I have used these seed sticks to help trim his beak. Fairly recently Vitakraft changed the flavours of their sticks, which baffled me - I was not aware of any petitions by dissatisfied budgies - and now the only sticks Marty will eat are the new egg flavoured ones which presumably are not much different from the old ones.
I had hoped that the new "feather care" flavour would be similar to the old "moulting" flavour (which were Marty's favourite) but this would appear not to be the case. I am continuing to keep them in his cage alongside the egg sticks hoping that he will eventually take to the "feather care" sticks since I now have a good stock of them! So yes, I would recommend them for other budgies, but Marty doesn't!

Grabs the dust!
Grabs onto the dust and keeps hold of it! A very useful item all round the house, car, caravan and office.
