The lock was defective and did not work
The lock did not work. I hired a professional lock smith to install and he could not get the lock to work, he spent 1 hrs on hold with Schlage helpdesk and tried everything they could suggest. Ultimately Schlage concluded the lock was defective. The lock smith charge was $200 for the 2.5 hrs he spent trying to install the defective lock, so this lock has cost me $200 for installation and does not work
