Great Value for Money
I have been using old M42 screw mount lenses via an adapter on Canon, Nikon and Fuji cameras for a few years now, so lens character is something I look for. My EF L lenses are optically fantastic, but very 'stock' looking. Seeing the 7Artisans 25mm lens for such a great price, I couldn't not be tempted. Some reviews praised its centre sharpness and I can only agree. My copy is sharp right until the very edges, where some edge smearing and vignetting exist, but this is very much a part of the lens' image output. It is literally about 2% of the overall frame, so a minimal issue. The metal build and mount for this price is highly appreciated. It also comes with an adhesive focus aid, which I haven't used. I find the manual focus control to be well judged, certainly better than the electric by wire ones on a 50mm Canon for example.
Compared to M42 lenses, contrast is better on the 7Artisans, which is useful on Fuji JPEGs. I would highly recommend this lens to anyone who likes a bargain and manual focus, prime lenses.

The Best Album Bowie Never Wrote
2 of 2 found this helpful When I first heard the single 4 out of 5 on the radio, it seemed very familiar, which is always quite comforting. From the shaped vocal sound, to the musical taste, this could have come anywhere between Alladin Sane and Diamond Dogs and I loved that about it. Hearing the full album on Spotify was just as impressive. The loose concept of the Tranquility Base Hotel and Casino on the moon drips 70s sleaze and cool in equal measure. For a band that started so brightly in the indie rock scene with clever lyrics and playful phrasing it doesn't surprise me that with maturity Alex Turner and co have been able to release an album as good as this. Definitively the best album since their debut release and the best album I've heard in the last 5 years.
