Wonderful Product. Falsely advertised: is "used" not "new/open box"
0 of 1 found this helpful The product itself is wonderful. It performs the same function as a hand-held electric beater and as the whisk attachment on a KitchenAid mixer, but comes with the advantage of being in a bowl with a sealed lid, so the mess is completely contained. I bought this one for my wife and her 14 cup Cuisinart Food Processor, and it fits. I grew up with my parents owning one, so my experience is that it's a niche convenience item.
This specific one was advertised as "New/Open Box", which indicates a never-used product, but there are definite traces of food caked to the gearbox unit, which is not dishwasher safe. The actual whisks and base adapter are dishwasher safe, and easy to clean. The gearbox unit is supposed to be wiped with a damp cloth, but it will probably take a trip under our WaterPik to get the food out of the screw heads and holes.
Ultimately, if the product is kept clean/rinsed, it's easy to clean and easy to use. If it arrives pre-used, it's a little more tricky to get back to a like-new status. If the food leftovers are 100% yours, there's not enough to be bothered with, but when they're someone else's, you can never be too careful. :)
