About
I started making jewelry and pottery many years ago in high school. Today I still make jewery, and I now also make kiln-fused glass. Some of my glass I use in jewery, and some is decorative art objects. I prefer to make one-of-a-kind objects.

Beautiful book!
This book has wonderful pictures of snowflakes. Plus the author explains what he discovered about the formation of snowflakes. There's not a lot of text in this book, but the information is fascinating.

Beautiful pictures, good information
The pictures in this book are all good, clear color photos. Most of the book is pictures. The first 33 pages have very good information about rhinestone jewelry for the collector. The information about the history of costume jewelry and dating jewelry is very interesting. The only disappointment for me is that the author does not give any dates or even general time periods for any of the jewelry pictured in this book. Nor does she give any hints as to how she decided on the prices she assigned to most of the pieces.
If you are interested in collecting costume jewelry, this is a good book to own.

Trademark reference
The first half of this book is an extensive list of trademarks and the company names of for companies that made rhinestone jewelry. This is very useful and I recommend owning this book as a trademark reference. The history information is also good.
Unfortunately most of the pictures are black and white, however the comments are very informative. The author does collect unmarked jewelry also, and includes unmarked pieces in her photos.
