Maxiscan MS309 OBD Scanner
1 of 1 found this helpful This item is great for carrying out diagnostic checks on the engine. It only scans the engine for fault codes. you can delete them and also get rid of the engine fault light. Also on some cars, but not all you can check the vin number which is handy. If your buying a car take this with you and you can check for fault codes and get a better bargain on your new car. This is a great entry level scanner for the diy person, but not for the professional garage who will have one that costs 000's and cost £300 a year or more to update. For the price, less than £15 delivered you can't go wrong. I keep this in the boot all the time just in case car goes in LMH. (Limp Home Mode.) Also you can charge your mates a tenner to tell them any fault codes. Write these down, then delete them as they may be old ones. Check the codes on google. Then scan the car after a couple of days. If there are no fault codes, then you know the old faults have probably been repaired. Any new ones you can recheck on google. Get one bought, you wont regret it...

YANKS, A film by John Schlesinger.
1 of 1 found this helpful If you live in Yorkshire, you should go and buy this film. When it was only on VHS it used to regularly get bids of up to £35 or more. Now it has been released on DVD and price has dropped dramatically. This film was originally released in 1978.It was filmed in Keighley, Dobcross, and Staleybridge. It is a story about WW2 when the americans decided to join the war after the pearl harbour attack. They invaded England and appeared in most cities and towns. As British men were away fighting they had a lot of advantages. They could get hold of a lot of luxuries which were very scarce.Watch out in the film when they make a trip to neutral Ireland to get supplies. Also lots of funny bits about us always drinking tea. This was Lisa Eichorn's very first film and a very early Richard Gere one.Directed by John Schlesinger and Produced by Joseph Janni both who were very nice people and sadly no longer with us.With comedy, seriousness and such attention to detail and also a Yorkshire made film, what are you waiting for? Hunt it down and get a bid in on aBay.

Very Funny And Nostalgic.
Great series with old classic buses, new back then when it was made.
Very realistic as inspectors used to check up where the buses were and if they were on time.
The driver and conductor, (remember them) are always planning to do as little as possible,
and usually getting away with it. Inspector Blake is always saying "I'll have you Butler"
Stan Butler is the regular driver in this series. Jack Harper, the conductor is more
interested in rivalling Casanova. There are 74 episodes in this box set so well worth buying.
Also if you like this bus comedy there are 3 films to chase up.
"On The Busses, Mutiny On The Buses and Holiday On The Buses"
Occasionally they are repeated on TV, but some episodes are edited to cut out
risqué jokes for daytime viewing. As I said earlier a great series and very realistic
back in the 70's. You would not get away with those things now.
Only one miniscule snag is some early episodes were filmed in black and white.
Also a few later ones because of a Technicians colour strike.
This does not deter you from laughing at this very funny comedy series.
If you have read this so far and you like comedy and old buses,
go get it bought, you wont regret it.
