Limited Edition British Wonder (in Irish colours!)
This is an excellent 1:200 scale model of a great British aircraft which largely followed on from the worldwide success of the Vickers Viscount both in the home and overseas market. This limited edition (265/312) comes in the colours of Irish flag carrier Aer Lingus. The One-Eleven was the first jet aircraft I flew in making the Cardiff-Dublin-Bristol-Cardiff round trip back in the early '70s. I haven't seen this model re-listed anywhere so I am pleased I bought it when I did. The model is very highly detailed needing a magnifying glass to read some of the authentic text applied to the fuselage. The antennae are a nice detailed touch too as is the delicate undercarriage features. Manufactured by Inflight200 (Article No. IF111012) in China this BAC 111-2808AL, registration EI-ANH "St. Ronan" (c/n BAC 52) comes in a fabulous emerald green Aer Lingus logoed presentation box. Rare and highly recommended purchase.

Fabulous model of a grand old lady
This is a lovely and detailed model of a very early Vickers Viscount 700, in fact 5th off the production line in Weybridge, Surrey, UK. Built for BEA and in a very early livery she now resides in Duxford as a museum piece. Corgi are famed for their highly detailed models especially in the Aviation Archive series.

Excellent scale model of one of Britain’s best aviation exports in the 1950’s
