Much better than generic supermarket filters
These filters are generously sized compared with cheap supermarket filters and produce a fuller flavoured brew. The brewing process seems to take a little longer so perhaps this is part of the reason for a richer result.

Gentlemen's essential kit
1 of 1 found this helpful Osma is the definitive brand for shavers' alum. You can buy much cheaper products, but they will have been dug up from somewhere and will typically contain mud and dirt. Osma, by comparison, is pure white.
It's a useful product to have in the cabinet, and not just for wet shaving. The instructions say it can also be used as a pre-shave for electric shavers. I certainly use it in the shower after electric shaving and often feel the little stings that tell you it is working.
It is also good as an underarm deodorant, to treat the soles of the feet, or for treatment/prevention of spots elsewhere on the body, such as on the back or bottom.
