1 of 2 found this helpful I purchased this item after having carefully read the reviews on eBay, all of which seemed to go towards an overall positive.
I then received it by the correct time and tried to install it on my car. With my surprise, however, I found out that this driver side mirror replacement, althoght allegedly made for vw mk5, did not quite fit how it should within the mirror encasement. The mirror, in fact, seemed to be slightly shifted towards to left whereby it touched the plastic on the left side as well as leaving too much space on the opposite side. This impedes the normal functioning of the mirror electric adjustment system.
