A nice piece of bling.
The OEM mudguard (fender) is matt finished soft plastic and shows a permanent mark after any contact with the surface. This rapidly spoils the appearance and becomes annoying, replacing it with is carbon fibre unit gives a much better look to the front end. it is high gloss and of good quality, I only needed to ease the mounting holes slightly for a perfect fit. It does not save a lot of weight but it looks GREAT.

Essential kit.
In my opinion this is an essential bit of kit for a touring bike, and that's what the Tracer is marketed as. Can't understand why they don't make their own as an accessory, missing a trick there. But back to the SW- Motech product, this is well made and the instructions are clear, the only two comments I would make are that it puts the rear wheel unecessarily high off the ground which adds effort to getting the bike on to the stand. The only other comment I would make is that I find the price a little high for what is essentially a piece of welded mild steel tubing, but it is the only one out there so they have the market and it is similar in price to OEM offered products.

Perfect fit.
I had tried another silencer from a british firm but when I treis to fit it the supporting bracket would not line up (about 2 cm out) so I had to return it. I was sceptical about buying from Italy but it turned out well, the silencer arrived in a reasonable time and fitted perfectly. It was a little more expensive (about £30) but was worth every penny, it looks and sounds great and the build quality is top notch plus it is EU compliant so no problems abroad. A GREAT BUY.
