My Morning Jacket - Okonokos (Live) (CD 2006)

Never heard any of their music before, but was recommended by a friend at work. I was really impressed by the sound of the album, huge expanses of sound, probably more emotional than studio tracks - need to check out for myself. Some Neil Young melancholy in the sound of the guitars and vocals mixed with some sort of early Zeppelin/Free bluesy power chords. Hard to describe really, but sounds better louder. I can highly recommend this album especially if you like Sparklehorse, Wilco, etc...

Fantastic CD - still sounds modern

Had this on vinyl when it came out - so on my to buy list on CD. This is a fantastic album, Bob Mould writes some classic songs, this is well worth a lsten and the follow-up is too...
