Boost/OD/EQ - GET IT UNDER 30USD
BUILD QUALITY - I just pulled it out of the box so I can't speak on its long-term reliability or roadworthiness, but it feels solid all around. Nice weight, tight knobs, big bright LED, very simple and attractive. Normally I do not comment on the looks or build of a pedal unless something is off or the design brings attention to itself, but for under $30.00 USD (2018) build and durability can be an issue. Upon the first impression, this looks and feels solid as hell.
SOUND QUALITY - Is sounds great! If you know your guitar's sound and you have the ears and the experience to get the tones you want reliably, then this pedal will only push you forward. Its a fine transparent boost! Better yet, crank the gain on the clean channel and you get a nice layer of muscle like a good transparent OD! Crank the treble and you can get some rat tones in front of an overdriven tube amp! Want brawn and warmth? Use the EQ! The Bass knob favors clean blues tones and can sound rather woody and warm, and the treble can give you some fender chime out of a Les Paul on the muddiest pickup. It's quite versatile.
VALUE - I got a good boost/overdrive/eq pedal for under $25.00 USD in 2018. That's an insane value! I'm sure I'll be putting it in different spots on my board to find out where it excels. It sounds so damn good I might use one as my base tone and buy another one to experiment with.
Get it! You can't go wrong unless you get a lemon!

2 of 2 found this helpful I had been looking for a good pedal to play along with early Metallica, Iron Maiden, Rage Against the Machine and Tool. I put it in my chain an it took literally two seconds to get a 'perfect' tone that retained its clarity and tightness even when I pushed the Drive to its peak. The versatility and range of tone colors is insane and the quality of the distortion is miraculous. I also own the Behringer Heavy Metal HM300, the Swedish death metal pedal, and this one easily blows it out of the water, for the same price! You can get the same tones and beyond with the UM300, but with greater clarity and firmness. This pedal feels like it comes with a compressor compared to the HM300. I was going to get the Behringer Heavy Distortion and the other variations of metal/distortion pedals but I think Ive found the holy grail, and its gonna keep me busy and satisfied for a long time. Sounds amazing on its own, I haven't stacked it yet and already I know for sure its a keeper and a mainstay along with the TO800 and the EQ700. Good job Behringer.
