Championship The NFL Title Games Plus Super Bowl by Jerry Izenberg (1970, PB)
    01 Feb, 2016
    cool little book!
i have a soft spot for this little book, that i purchased with my candy money through scholastic book services in catholic school. i may have overated it for some consumers. but i've never seen another book covering ALL those old championship games which show the formative stages of todays NFL. each story holds little details about these games of "yore". mostly it is reading for the the football history lover. it inspired me to play throughout my grammar school years. a real shame they don't run it every year, and tell subsequent stories of each superbowl! a real nostalgic fun book! if anyone can find a better summary of all those games please let me know!

    Fun Melodic Imaginative
Definitely not the modern day "SGT. PEPPER" as some reviewers described it, but as todays artists go was darn good by comparison to the "cookie cutter " drivel that is shoved in our ears by the commodity minded record industry.Learned about this in a Brit mag called PROG (my favorite genre, though I love all MUSIC) Mike Portney (one of the best drummers in the world) said he enjoyed listening to this in an interview. And I can see why!! Very imaginative melodies and instrumentation abound. And the influences here are numerous (Beatles, Beach Boys, Queen etc) Categorize this as very fun music!! Impressive musicianship and arrangements. Very original in it's own right.
