“Big Ben” My new little buddy

An easy and inexpensive upgrade. A noticeable improvement in clarity. Nice weight, and grippy rubber pad on the bottom. Finish matches my turntable perfectly. Well worth the price.

A great tube for the price!

I have always been a fan of NOS tubes but decided to try these Sov-tek 12ax7lps because of all the good reviews. Initially I wasn’t really all that impressed with them, and swapped them back out for NOS. Since then I gave them another chance, and glad I did, The more I listened, the more I like them. I can now say I like them better than NOS. What they lack in warmth they make up for in detail and clarity. Less tube hiss, but still tubey.

Nobsound 24v Adjustable LPS

Seems to be well built. Voltage adjustment knob is very sensitive. The fan is noisy, I can still hear it a little at 13ft a way when no record is playing. All that been said, it does make an appreciable difference in sound quality. It’s not high end, but not cheap junk either.
