Live In Madrid - Motorhead Live!
A great document of Overnight Sensation-era Motorhead. Includes their version of the Hawkwind classic, Silver Machine. Missing only one track, Overnight Sensation as it was at the end of one side of the soundboard tape and at the beginning of the other, it’s an important document of the slimmed-down three piece after Wurzel had left. The Madrid crowd were suitably vocal which adds to the allure of this double red vinyl beast.

Soul survivor gives us medicated goo!
Perhaps the bargain of the year for me. I picked up a promo copy of this wonderful, long-awaited album, 50 years in the making. Sonically fabulous, intimate yet roomy and downright exciting, this is a must-have for people still passionate about their music who want to fill a room with beautiful noise.
Eric Clapton lent a hand with his Dominoes and surely some of the best session musicians around can be heard providing the backing for the singly most underrated vocal talent in the business.
Pat Arnold makes you sit up and feel the excitement and passion for the music once more. Whether it's the all-out assault on the opener or the most searing, soaring heart-rending ballad, this lady can sure hold a note.
Reviews elsewhere have been positive too so grab onto something really special. She was the face of Immediate adding colour and range to some Small Faces classics, a former Ikette backing Tina Turner on early tours, a solo soul sensation, but this early 70's gem of an album sees a Bee Gees-produced team-up break musical ground with the paradox of music very much of its era bearing a timeless quality.
