Unrivalled image quality
Positives
Genuinely the best image quality anywhere near this price point at the moment, I've owned the GH4-A7S and canon c100 and the image from this is phenomenal, the 13 stops of dynamic range and 10 bit image mean you can tweak the look without losing quality. It's surprisingly small but the pro results codes and focus peaking means it's well stocked, for those worried about the file sizes prores proxy let's you record 2 and a half hours worth of footage on a 64 gig sd card. Footage is also a dream to edit in final cut as it is already formatted to prores.
Drawbacks
Battery life is absolutely dreadful so sort an alternative means of powering this beast, there are many other ways.
Screen is awful outside, genuinely unusable in sunlight, a clip on viewfinder is highly recommended (or bung a jacket over your head.
In camera sound pre amps are crap, this isn't an ideal all in one documentary solution that's for sure, though there are levels to see on the screen which are handy.
There are better cameras out there for run and gun shooting, low light capabilities and battery life, but if it's cinematic quality on a budget this is the only choice.

Excellent option to get full frame on Fujifilm
2 of 2 found this helpful Bought the ef version of the viltrox 'speedbooster', unfortunately Metabones do not make an ef to fx so there are really only a few other options to adapt ef lenses onto your Fujifilm whilst getting the full field of view from full frame lenses.
The Viltrox is well packaged and built, lenses fit on nicely, you get a minor swirl added to the bokeh which isn't such a bad thing and only noticable on longer lenses, you definitely get an extra stop of speed, meaning I can now shoot at 2000 iso in situations where i needed to go to 4000 iso which is handy, not tested the auto focusing capabilities as of yet but the above is worth the £130 alone imo.
Below is an example of the extra field of view you get at the same stop and same distance from the camera using a 58mm lens at f2. First photo with a dummy adapted and the second with the viltrox adapter.
