I'm an outdoors sort of person who likes taking pictures, mountains and climbing. I'm an engineer now but my background was as a camera and photographic equipment technician.

Good value and simple to use HDD drive controller for DIY projects
Probably the cheapest and easiest way to power a HDD motor. Perfectly simple to use and allows, by means of a built-in potentiometer to vary the speed of the motor. Recommended.

The central cubby box is often overlooked! Fix it! 2007 L322 uses two of these.
Perfect replacement for the centre cubby box. Stops that lid from crashing down!

Great Idea - Terrible Execution, can never work!
0 of 1 found this helpful We deal with precision parts and need to sandblast items with 220 grit prior to painting. This desktop blaster looked like the kind of thing used by dental technicians and looks good. The problem is this: the movement of the blast media through the tubes, valves and connectors wears away the parts. The plastic tubing is the first to go, followed by the pen nozzles, which disintegrate, followed by the connectors on the bottom of the glass pots. It isn't so much that the thing is badly made but badly designed. The unit I have that cost a lot of money will probably end up on the skip. If you buy one of these, I'd say that you'll get about 30 minutes use out of it before having problems. It looks as if we'll have to go back to using the type of equipment used in garages.
