Almost fanstastic
This little keyboard/touch-pad combo is cheap and useful. Easy, Plug and Play, design with decent range and good touch-pad response. My only grip is the button mapping is slightly off compared to the labels on the keypad. I have found a couple of the keys are "switch" between what is labeled on the device and what appears onscreen. This all are the special characters, but it did take me some trial and error to discover the @ symbol was where the colon symbol was labeled and vise versa. However for the price it well worth having to memorize a few changes to the key mapping. Still a great buy. Would give it Five stars if it wasn't for the few issues with the keys.

Official vs Retro Bit AC adapters
While OEM AC adapters can cost three times the price of a Retro Bit AC Adapter the overall performance and quality is worth the investment. The Retro Bit AC adapters are poorly constructed, generate an alarming amount of heat and are prone to burning out (I went through two before purchasing an OEM Adapter). Official Adapters are well built and easily refurbished, a quick search for capacitor kits to replace aging components will turn up dozens of cheap results. If an original Nintendo Adapter is failing, most retro gaming stores provide recapping services for a reasonable fee. Additionally many after market AC adapters (such as the Retro Bit models) do not provide reliable voltage regulation. This review is specific to the Super Nintendo, however I have had personal experience with a Retro Bit Adapter blowing the internal fuse in a Sega CD console due to stated over voltage issues. The long and short of this review is, while OEM adapters tend to cost more than new replacements they are worth the investment for classic consoles.
