Great on our River.
1 of 1 found this helpful Firstly I must say the delivery and updates re the order and delivery have been excellent. Delivered in two days from order, backed up with msgs updating every step of the way. The packaging was really well done, securing the kayak got delivered safely.
Being a novice I opted for the cheaper end to start off. I looked at some in a local shop about £300 more with a seat and paddle but couldn't justify the price for my first kayak. I'm glad I didn't buy the one from the shop now I've seen and tried this one as I can't see anything to warrant the extra £300.
I used a kayak while on holiday. I enjoyed it but felt uncomfortable with the basic seating. The additional seat that comes with this kayak is brilliant and is really comfortable. The paddle does the job. I presume it's a mid size to cover most people. There are different sizes for different heights I've been told. Being a novice I don't think it matters at this stage.
The kayak feels good quality from the few I've seen. On a river it was easy to keep tracking straight and felt secure. Looking forward to hours of fun and adventures.
