A bit lightweight
The quality is OK for the price - we simply wanted mice proof storage. It can be easily dinted so would not be useful for rubbish management we are pleased with ithe dustbin as it does what we wanted.

Works but be prepared!
It is fairly substantial and will take up about 600mm square of storage space by 700mm high when not in use and can be pushed around on it's castors. The vacuum certainly removes water and silt from a pond but it does have some draw backs.
One, the pipe taking water away from the tank is just pushed on; it works but a screw on fitting would have been better and prevented leaking from the joint.
Two, the fittings for attaching the handle is also very fiddly and best achieved with a magnetic screw driver and patience.
Finally, the fact that everything is drawn out (water and silt) and that you need a lot of containers to take the water in the hopes that the silt will settle quickly allowing you to return the water to the pond. I have a feeling that there might be a possibility of a 'wet' filter being available which might mean that you could return the water direct to the pond; the machine comes with a 'dry' filter for use as a dry vacuum which hints that an alternative filter might be available.
So the machine does have two uses although it was bought just for a pond vacuum - so it is good value overall.

What a little pump!
I didn’t expect much for the price but this little pump can pump up a spray about 40cms (16”) when the sun is at midday and with a fairly clear sky. It still works well when there is more cloud and will even just tick over during a really cloudy day in summer. Quite amazing; ideal for a small pond or barrel pond.
