Marmite music
1 of 1 found this helpful You either like this genre or you don't. I do and my wife hates it. Maxwell Davies is full of powerful emotion and can be dark but it reflects the landscapes of the mountains and seas and people of the northern isles. I do my best paintings listening to his work.

A neat package

Bruckner symphonies
I am not in any way an expert but the recordings of the Bruckner symphonies are excellent. If you want to add his work to your classical cd collection you can't go far wrong with these.
